OOTN - Attending the party of the year

Hi my Loves,

So for my first blog post EVER I thought I would do an Outfit Of The Night post. I have no idea if I am going to be good at this, or if you will enjoy this but I am going to try my very best to make it interesting and girly for you :-) I'll tell you what I wore and what make-up I chose too. Hope you like it.

Firstly I should probably tell you where I went. Well it really was the party of the year. My beautiful friend Beverley Knight invited myself and my family to her 40th birthday bash in Shepherds Bush London. How lucky are we? We had a brilliant night watching her perform to all of us....you know when everyone knows the words, the music goes quite, and you can just hear the crowd? total goosebump moment! I love that.

I love to meet and mingle with new people and I love to see what everyone chooses to wear to a party like this!!! what do you wear to Beverley Knights party???? I had no idea, I didn't want to over dress but at the same time I didn't want to under dress...you girls will know what I mean. Every girls dilemma. I just had to go with what suited my body shape, what I liked and felt comfortable in.

My boyfriend and I decided to go on a trip to one of the better shopping centres, Bluewater. I searched all my favourite shops...and you know that really annoying moment when you see the perfect outfit in the shop but you have no money? yeah...well that did not happen this day. I found nothing. I had the money and I liked nothing. typical. The party was in less than 2 days. I was abut to give up...yes...I had the ump lol My boyfriend on the other hand found everything he liked. He looked great I must add;-)

I ended up finding an outfit whilst out with my Mum, in my local town a day later. Its weird just the presence of my mum found me an outfit, they just have the gift don't they? So there I was in Basildon with the perfect outfit in less than an hour! Brilliant.

I chose to go with my absolute favourite shop Miss Selfridge. I knew she wouldn't let me down. These shops come up trumps at the last minute don't they? My dress was cream in colour and had an elasticated waste, which I find so comfortable and flattering. It just flowed around my legs beautifully and had a lace top half that just draped nicely over the elastic waste. Because it was cold I really did not want the hassle of trying to search for a coat to go with it, that was warm, but still looked fashionable. So I decided on a blazer that I could keep on all night. It was actually a really dark Navy Blue colour and it is so so comfortable. I have had the blazer for such a long time I cant even remember where its from. Can only really be River Island if  think back. I already had some shoes that I had ordered from Boohoo a while back. I had them crystalised by my friend Stacie Sparkle to make them extra special. So the only part of my outfit that was new was my £40 dress!!!! Bargain. I love to mix and match what I already have in my wardrobe.

I chose to go with a sparkly smoky eye make up. This is one of my favourite looks. Of course it had to have glitter in there didn't it? Now I am no make-up artist, in fact I don't enjoy doing my make up at all lol I cant wait until have have done it to be honest.

The eyeshadows and the glitter was all Bella Peirre. I am a massive fan of their make-up since I worked for them last year doing nails :-) I also love their blusher/bronzer too. You really should check out their range its gourgeous. I used Eyelure Strip lashes in 140, my favourite lashes. I wear them every time I go somewhere special ad I always use DUO eyelash glue, it never fails me!!

My nails where all done by ME!!!? who else? lol I sculpted them the week before and chose a few glitters that go with everything. Coral is my favourite glitter too. I really have nothing else to say about them, hahaha I bet you was all expecting a big paragraph on Bella Loretta Nails LOL Im just going to go with 'they speak for themselves' :-)

My jewellery and bag was all New Look I am absolutely loving all of their chunky jewellery range at the moment. I chose a black plastic type necklace with a bow, to match the bow on the bag. I am a MASSIVE fan of wearing lots of rings as you can see. These were all so cheap, around £3-£4 for a set of 5 rings of all different styles. My bangles where also a mixture with some fabric bow, gold bangles. I really feel I should be telling you a price at this point but I cant remember....I suppose that defeats the whole point of this blog post? anyway just trust me, go to New Look and you will see for yourself and stock up on amazing accessories.

I hope you have enjoyed my first blog post girls. Would love some feedback in the comments below?

I promise I will get better ;-)

All my love Loretta
